Gold border and a gold pattern on the four corners of the tray. It measures 26" x 18". Edge sits 1 1/2" up from the table. Some surface wear here and there from age, very minor. It's absolutely gorgeous as you can see in the photos. There is a stamp on the back that reads: Hand Decorated Tole, Pilgrim Art.
