This date around the 1930's~ This cover was produced from hand woven cotton and linen mix and has no stripe! ~*~ . This textile would be amazing to add appliques, patches, embroidery etc to for a WONDERFUL bed cover, large floor pillow, curtains, etc! ~*~  This textile is made by hand weaving the linen and cotton with a beautiful, heavy twill weave and then hand stitching 2 panels together so there is a hand stitched seam that runs the middle, this can make a beautiful feature for upholstery pieces, etc! . The weight is a heavy weight~ this would make the most charming duvet cover for a twin bed!! ~*~ I use one in my daughter's room  and have stuffed it with a feather comforter. It remains on the bottom of her bed,  and on a chilly night I just pull up! They are lovely. Also, it can be used for it's fabric, making pillows, upholstery pieces and many other charming sewing projects! Charming!
