Antique parcel gilt sterling silver (Not silver plated) snuff / pill box, France, Ca 1870.The Rectangular box is embossed with foliage ornaments.The box has a monogrammed cartouch at the center of the lid with the letters "RM". The lid opens on a hinge reviling a gold washed interior.Measures 2.36in X 1.18in and a height of 0.6in. Marked with French silver marks as seen in the picture.Very good condition, the lid closes perfectly, the hinge is in a perfect condition.
