Description
This dome is comprised of seven (7) curved panels which create a dome that would measure approximately 6 foot tall by 14 foot in diameter.  I have never had the dome assembled.  I was told it was manufactured at the Pittsburg Glass Company, which would date it to the mid 1800's.  The frame is solid.  I don't believe it has ever been exposed to any weather.  The wood frame surrounding the glass panels is strong and intact.  There is reinforcing steel rods that run throughout the panels.  A one of a kind masterpiece.  There are a few pieces of glass that need replacing, the glass pieces average around 8 - 9 inches each.  (Out of 1000 pieces, maybe 20 are broken or cracked...I'm really not sure, since the panels are burried in the back of my garage right now.)  At any price, this is a  bargain, where else are you ever going to find it, the antique stained glass itself is worth more than the price I'm starting at.   I consider this piece to be priceless, and have always had visions of it being the crowning glory of my indoor gazebo.  (Unfortunately, in my house - I'm the only one with vision).  I was going to have a frame welded to set the panels onto and hold it up with some posts and center it in my new addition (Again....I guess only I could see that happening).  They have sat around long enough...and need a good home to adorn.  Email me with any questions, I'll try to answer them.  I cannot part with this for a lower price.
