(please see picture) MEASUREMENTS ARE: 16" x 17 1/2" with frame 11 1/4" x 12 7/8" sampler without frame and liner Top portion features numbers and the alphabet with the motto "Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh when thou shall say, I have no pleasure in them" Bottom portion has more phrases decorated with crowns and dogs.  Embroidery colors are vivid red, green, beige, brown, black and some pastel blue  Framing under glass was done recently.  The fabric matte, which measures 1 7/8" all around, is a neutral beige which compliments the linen sampler very nicely.
