The brass plate has Summons Siberia, Simmons Hardware Co. St. Louis, MO. I do not know if this is the same Simmons Hardware that later changed there name to Keen Kutter. The refrigerator ice box of course has no motor. They purchased a block of ice and set in the chest and that kept the food cool. It still has the original metal on the inside along with the original brass hardware. The top and sides I believe has had wood replacement. We do not know the exact age or date but believe it dates to the late 1800's. It stands 38 1/2 inches tall by 27 1/2 inches by 20 inches and weighs 95 pounds.
