Means and Frank D. Gardner for the US Dept. of Agriculture. The soil map measures approx. 19 3/8" x 23 1/2" ( scale of 1" to 1 mile). The water map measures approx. 18 1/2" x 23 7/8" and shows conditions in April and May of 1899. The alkali map measures approx. 18 1/2" x 24" and shows conditions in same time frame. All are in excellent condition, suitable for framing, and would make a wonderful addition to your collection.
