The 14K gold band has beveled panels engraved with ornate florishes. Two panels are smooth instead of beveled and one is engraved with the initials MC and another is stamped with 14K 8. The Ketham & McDougall hallmark of MKD is stamped in the apex with STERLING underneath. This is in excellent antique condition. I did not clean this prefering to leave that decision to the true owner. It is completely round; has no pin holes, dents, dings or other distractions. A beautiful antique thimble.
