' Description LARGE Guipure Lace Tablecloth With Acorns & Pheasants.  MAGNIFICENT ! This magnificent table cloth was made entirely of button hole stitch.  It is very large.  It fits my table, which as you can see is a good size.  It measures 96" by 63".  The general design is of acorns and pheasants.  But as you can see from the pictures it is far more intricate than just that.  The central designs almost have an oriental feel to them.  The pairs of pheasants are quite forceful looking at each corner of the cloth and opposite sides.  Acorns adorn the entire cloth in some way or another.  The intricate border is based on a circle theme.  The lace is quite heavy.  It is in perfect condition.  There are no holes or rips or tears.  There are a few small food stains that would come out with the care of a professional antique textile cleaner.  This cloth seems to have been used once and stored carefully away.  The napkins show no sign of use.  This piece is a superb example of needle work lace.  You would certainly see such a cloth in a museum.  It came from the estate of a very wealthy family in Chestnut Hill Ma.   I must admit when you look at the scope of this piece it is very hard to imagine how many years it took to create and how they made the pattern.   International First Class Is $10.00.    International Priority is $20.00.  Happy to combine shipments!  If you win more than one piece, wait for me to invoice you.    Please feel free to email me with any questions.  I am happy to respond as soon as I can.
