Antique KarastanWilliamsburg Rug We sell only genuine antique or semi-antique Karastan rugs made by Karastan, not cheap knock-offs from overseas. Our rugs come from private estates in the US and we clean and refurbish the rugs to the best of our ability before offering them for sale. Description: This is an EARLY antique Karastan rug in the Williamsburg or Kerman design in good condition. This rug was made in the 1930's to 40's in the early days of Karastan and was called a Kerman design. Mohawk, after purchasing Karastan, is currently copying this design in their new Karastan rugs and calling it a Williamsburg design. These antique versions of this newly popular design are highly desirable. We have 3 of these rugs from the same estate that we will list on ebay.This rug has even low pile and comes with the original Karastan cleaning tag and design tag from the 1930's-40's Colors: Reddish background with navy border and light blue, green, brown, ivory. Size: 8' 4" x 12' 1" All dust has been removed from the foundation of the rug and it has been professionally hand shampooed. S/H/I: To your home via Fedex for $89.
