Antique Gold & Black Italian Carrera Marble Columns! from turn of the century Long Island, NY prestigeous bank.     Two 12.5 foot high original antique marble columns with bases , plus extra pieces for making pilasters!   This is a versatile lot for builders.  Here are the details:   This lot includes 23 pieces of curved marble, each approximately 6.25 feet high and 19 to 20 inches wide. There were originally 24 pieces which fit together to make two 18.5 foot marble columns. (One of the topmost pieces was broken when we were took them apart). So what we have now is two 12 foot Columns with 7 extra curved pieces for making additional 6.25 ft. pillasters. Or you can put them together to make four 6.25 ft. columns with 7 extra pieces for 6.25 ft. pillasters.    Each column consists of 8 pieces in two tiers. Four pieces fit together to make the first 6.25 feet, the next four pieces add 6.25 feet making each column 12.50 feet total. Or you can split the tiers and make four 6.25 foot columns. Or perhaps your architect has even more ideas than this!    This exquisite marble is extremely rare.   The original plaster capitals didn't survive the dismantling... however we do have the original marble bases (see pictures).
