Suppliers to the monarchy, these magnificent fortresses would have been commissioned for a captain of an industry, an army general or even a member of the royal family.  Whether in a castle or government building, this ornate masterpiece dominated the room where it was placed. The complex locking mechanism attests to its handcraftsmanship and that of its valuable contents.   Three keys are needed to open the safe, the structure of which is imposing. With a gold plated, sunburst crest on its crown, it stands as a testament to the effort exerted to complete one of these high security bar cabinets. The Victorian style cooper handles boast to its European origins, and confirm the fact that the structure is fireproof.   The exterior is made of forged steel, baked for 24 hours to ensure its content remain fireproof. It is painted to resemble oak root and finished with gold trimming.
