Antique English glass egg advertising "E. Probert & Sons" with white interior and clear glass casing.It appears as though the decorations are stenciled onto the white inside with clear glass over it. It measures 3-1/2" high, 2-1/2" wide and has a bit of a rough open end (not sharp though) with a cork.    I am at a bit of a loss as to what this egg's purpose was...perhaps a darning egg that held the needles inside?  I do know for sure that it came from Great Britain.I am told that the birds are fighting cocks.I'd love an email if you know anything about this type of glass egg.
