We have seen a lot of these used by our clients as hanging table lights, but it can also be mounted direct to the ceiling. This light has two mount holes in the base. The copper cone measures just short of 10 inches wide. If mounted direct to the ceiling or wall, this light will extend out about 7 1/2 inches. This light is solid brass and copper, hang it inside or out, it will last forever! Globe is glass and has no danage. I have not re-wired or tested the current wiring. If you need help re-wiring we can quote you a price to make this light ready to install on your project with almost any voltage.  All of my lights are recovered from ship salvage yards around the world. These lights are from working vessels, and you can expect that they will have wear from use. If a light has damage, we will make every effort to describe it to you.
