It has hand sewn, hand made needle point and bobbin laces in it, with some machien made sections. Really an early type of Normandy style patchwork lace. Overall color is a rich antique cream. There are numerous laces types included in the design, Alencon, Point de Venise, Milanese, Valenciennes/mechlin. It is entirely hand sewn, and is 19 inches long by 14 inches high,. The hems are all hand sewn and the pillow has 5 tiny buttons, all present. The whole pillowcase is very intricate and beautiful. Condition is quite good, but it has two pinholes on the back and some areas now backed and repaired with tulle inside the pillowcase and also a couple of areas of lace coming undone. There are some water marks (I have left this in as found condition). It sounds like a lot, but actually very minor in this impressive and lovely pillow case.
