An Anthropometric Measuring Tool, used in Eugenics and more benign scientific and medical studies. Observations: This item is from my grandfathers estate.  He was a General Surgeon in New York City from the 1930's until his death in 1974. This item has been in storage since that time. He was an avid collector of many things including interesting medical and scientific instruments. He was stationed in England and Germany from 1952 through 1955 running US Army field hospitals. We do not know when he purchased this item. Condition: Very good condition. Could use a little polishing, but other than that it is a great antique piece.
