The rug that we have chosen this time is very interesting, because it is a Bidjar Sampler. This rug was made in late 1930's and all these years, when I bought it it has some missing at both ends plus a minor repair in another area, all repairs were done by a profesiional repair man and none of them is visible. This rug could be older, but we always try to be in the safe side  . The samplers were made for the rug merchants in order to get the back order from them and they were made only for a big merchants. As you see, the different pattern of Bidjars are put in this samplers with magnificent color combination. This Wagireh is made of wool on cotton foundation and measures 3'-10" square .
