Description AUTHENTIC ROMAN AMPHORA(dating of 150 to 300 before J.-C.)   General Informations Here is a unique roman amphora dating of 150 to 300 years after Jesus Christ. It is made of putrified clay. This receptacle was one of the most used to carry drinking water, wine and oil while travelling, wether on earth or on sea. This amphora is caracterized by its two symmetrical handles which have inlaid fossilized corals on them. It also has the scare of the rope that tied it to the boat. It is 51 inches of circumference and 21 inches high.
