THE ERARD FRENCH PIANO FIRM MADE MANY OF MOZART'S PIANOS AND FOR THE OTHER FAMOUS PIANISTS. THIS ERARD PIANO HAVE NUMBER 74284. THE ARTIST COMMISSIONED BY ERARD FRENCH PIANO FIRM WAS LUCIEN SIMONNET, HIS ART IS ON EXHIBIT AT: MUSEE DU LUXEMBURG, MUSEE DE ROCHEFORT, MUSEE DE SETE AND IN PRIVATE COLLECTIONS IN EUROPE AND THE AMERICAS. LUCIEN SIMONNET BORN IN PARIS NOVEMBER 22, 1849, DIED IN SEVRES APRIL 16, 1926, WAS COMMISSIONED BY ERARD, THE FRENCH FIRM OF PIANO AND HARP MAKERS, TO PAINT A LIMITED EDITION OF ROCOCO BABY GRAND PIANOS FOR DISPLAY AT THE UNIVERSAL EXHIBIT OF 1900.
