Description
ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE PIECE OF COLLECTION, HIGH END FURNISHING – GUARANTEED   These pieces are presently exposed at Marius Barbeau Museum located at 139 Sainte-Christine road, St-Joseph de Beauce, Quebec until september 15 2008.     Title: «Le joueur de flûte d'après Menzel» translation: As per Menzel, The Flutist   Style : Victorian   Dimensions:     Table 1:         20" X 42" X 12"   - King Prusse Frederick II, musical evening                            Table 2:         13" X 13" X 12"                            Table 3:         13" X 13" X 12"   The paintings on these tables were done by the artist Hugues Voyer in 2004.   Artist:     Hugues Voyer – artist by trade; historian painter who specializes in wood transparencies.   Born in December 1948 in Saint-Romuald, a grandson of an opera composer, and from a family of artists and craftsmen, Hugues Voyer has been dedicated to his art from a very young age.   A self-taught versatile artist, Hugues Voyer has created atmospheres in the same manner as the great masters. A stickler for detail, Hugues Voyer uses his historical research and unique touch to transcribe a vision of the past. He has developed a unique technique for exposing wood grain through juxtaposition and a play of colours.   Transparency on wood adds dimension to furnishings, breathes life, and creates an atmosphere that is close to reality. One piece can boast between 15 and 25 coats of paint, until the artist reaches the desired effect. The more coats, the more refined the wood transparency and the higher the level of difficulty.     NEED MORE INFORMATION: Please communicate with Galerie L’Art Toqué at:  514-861-2828 or 514-951-8439 You can visit our web site at : www.galerielarttoque.com Once payment is received we will immediately forward you the invoice and the certificate of authenticity.
