These chests were originally used to store herbs for cooking and medical purposes. Solid  mahogany, crafted in late 19th century Shaker style. All original. Nice high base and narrow sides. It measures about 14" H by 24 1/2" W by 11 1/2"D. Each draw is 7.5" in depth X 2 1/4 wide and 2 1/4 in hieght. Perfect for storing sowing supplies or for the fisherman's plugs and hooks.
