Description You are veiwing a Antique Tapa cloth.  I obtained this from the Estate Sale of a woman that came to the United States after living in Australia in 1936 and brought this tapa cloth along with her.  I have no idea where it came from before she bought it.  It is very old, there are some little tears in it, very antique looking.  It may have come from the Figi Islands, another Ebayer emailed to say it looks to be  Samoan, did some research on Tapa's and this one, in design,  seems to be from Figi or Samoa, I could be wrong though.  The Tapa cloth is 5 feet  by 4 feet, 2  inches.   The last picture is of the underside.
