ANTIQUE OLD DOOR KNOBS W/BACK PLATE & KNOBS Start Price USD 39.99 Current Price USD 81.39 Time Left - Bid Count 5 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Thursday, September 04, 2008 End Time Thursday, September 11, 2008 Location Marshfield, MO See more about 'ANTIQUE OLD DOOR KNOBS W/BACK PLATE & KNOBS' Description ANTIQUE OLD DOOR KNOBS W/BACK PLATE & KNOBS - We found this old set at an antique auction here in the Ozarks and it came out of one of the first banks built in this little town which has been closed over 75 years or more.  It needs cleaned up but is brass and I think bronze.  It is heavy, very ornate and has a brass leaf to cover the main key hole to deter illegal entry to the room, it slides over to cover the key hole and slides back over if you wish.  See close up pic.  The back plate is brass and is 12" long and 3.5" wide. It has a knob back plate for other side of the door that is 2"x2" and and a key hole back plate that is 2.5" x 1.5".  I was going to clean all the paint off and the green patina but leaving that up to you.  The set of knobs are heavy brass too and are complete and 6.5" long, pretty ornate also.  Beautiful set to refurbish and use!  See pics.~International bidders paypal only~Please check out my other auctions as I am constantly adding new, old, wierd, good stuff almost daily.
