Absolutely gorgeous antique to vintage Minton 12pc 8 7/8" shallow soup or bouillon bowls, all in pristine condition with elegant raised gold encrusted borders! Not dinner plates, these beauties are actually 1 3/8" shallow soup dishes. Not only do you get the elegance & beauty but another dish to use and/or display :). Imagine how striking these will be resting atop your larger gold encrusted dinner plates as your guests take their seats. A definite must and the decoration doesn't get much (or any) better! 1891-1920s Minton marks on all, what looks like a 1923 date mark so they're at least vintage. Also double marked for the Davis Collamore & Co. New York retailer. Yes, these are the type that we keep checking prices for in the Bon Marche of Paris and, even though those are new, they are gorgeous - just not as gorgeous as these old fine ones and the prices keep going up. Last time I looked, similar plates ranged from $500 to $4000 - each! Yes, that is a per plate price, remember.
