ALMOST 6 feet x 4 feet ! It is made of thick cotton, probably machine loomed in the 1920-40's time frame.  It depicts some type of fancy garden party or soiree' with all the guests dressed in their Louis the 14th finery . I especially like the handsome man to the far right w/ his snazzy high heels and ponytail..really cute. All of the guests appear to be gesturing towards a carriage that someone very important must be coming out of. This tapestry is in good/very good condition. I only see a tear at the very top , only on the edge fringe. very few other holes at the top where it looked like it may have been nailed to the wall somewhere..but only in the fringe, not the tapestry. At the very bottom right, is a worn area of fabric..very slight( less than an inch ).not of any importance really. It has no odors or stains..a nice big one for your bed, or wall .
