The colors are rich and beautiful with a somewhat sunset glow to the sky. The artistry of the painting has a folk art primitive impression. The grasses are rich colors in reds, golds, and green of autumn. The frame is stunning with beautiful gesso or pressed carved floral and leaf boarder. A very nice deep frame measuring approximately 2" in depth.The overall measurements are 22 1/4" by 16 3/8". Very good condition. The painting is not signed unless it is under the edge of the frame. It is done on the Devoe Artist board that has a label noting they were established 1852.
