Here you will find the beautiful and useful things they couldn't do without.... Thick heavy antique embroidered & lace trimmed runner!Is it Arts & Crafts or Mission? These two styles overlapped both in time period and technique so it's often hard to categorize, but this runner will fall into both categories, more Mission, however, based on the type of embroidery. Cloth is bright white. Weaving looks by hand. Hand embroidery is with heavy cotton yarn, the same yarn used for the crocheted edging, elaborate at both ends, simpler down each long side. Not perfect, see condition details below. Wonderful old cloth from the earlier 1900s.Measurements: Runner is 20x52".Condition: Only flaws found are two small mends at one end just above the crochet trim, pictured. Otherwise in excellent unmarked and unworn condition.
