The sides of the lid are painted  gold.The front features two pink roses in the same colors and fashion as the one on the top. There are also four pink buds along with green foliage.Both ends of the box likewise have the same pink roses and leaves on them.Back of box is not decorated.There is a very securely attached locking strap on the lid which slips over very securely attached piece on front of box.Dimensions are 12 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 4 1/2".Box is in excellent condition and closes very tightly.
