IT IS CONSTRUCTED SOLIDLY OF WALNUT AND FEATURES GREAT DECORATIVE INLAYS. MATCHED HOOK WOOD GRAINS OF RICH WALNUT IN GEOMETRIC DESIGNS THAT ARE OUTLINED WITH SATINWOOD BORDERS. THE FOOTBOARD HAS AN INCREDIBLE INLAID SATINWOOD BOUQUET OF FLOWERS THAT IS OUTLINE BY OVAL BEADED WOOD AND SURROUNDED BY BURLED WALNUT. THE HEADBOARD IS TOPPED WITH A CROWN OF BRASS LEAVES THAT RUN ALONG THE TOP. ALL THE EDGES ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH A GILT SWAG OF LEAVES AND BERRIES TIED WITH A RIBBON AT THE TOP. BEAUTIFUL TOUCH TO THIS WONDERFUL BED! THIS BED IS IN GREAT CONDITION. IT DOES HOWEVER HAVE 3 MISSING PIECES OF SQUARE WOOD ON THE SIDE BOTTOMS, RIGHT ABOVE THE LEGS. THESE SIDE CAPS MEASURE 2" X 4" AND ARE ONLY NOTICEABLE FROM THE SIDE (THEY CAN BE EASILY REPLACED). THIS IS A STANDARD DOUBLE BED, MEASURING 57" WIDE.
