Also have the lightning rods that came off of the same barn listed seperate. This listing is for a huge old barn cupola. It was taken off of a antique amish barn in Todd county Minnesota. It is approx. 12 foot tall, 56" across top ring, and 54" x 54" at outer square. It comes with lightning rod, and a broken arrow. Believe the cast iron arrow had a animal on it originally you can see 2 tabs ware a piece has been broke may have been the animals front and back leg mounts. still has 2x4 wood boxed frame in base. It has many original bullet holes and dings. Very nice aging patina. The rod and arrow do come off the top. The top section has rusted free and the bolt mounts ware top mounts to bottom tube. With a little tin bending it can be put back over the center body tube and there is enough area to put new screws in once you have it set in place. Or one can put a couple of screws in it with the tapered bottom of top section setting inside of tube as it is in my photo's with it put together.  One of the bottom edges of the 4 tin finns on top is pulled lose. It has dents and rust but all adds to the aged look and character. Original condition as found. Would make a great piece of history or would look great with a primitive decor. Would also make a eye catching store display or lawn ornament. Last time I checked boom truck operators wanted $300.00 to take these off of the roofs so most of these were trashed by throwing them off the roof. Not sure on exact age so be your own judge. Item is sold as found (uncleaned) and should clean up nicely, but I will leave that to a more experienced, new owner. This new system of feedback also lets the buyer rate the seller on shipping time. We as sellers have no control of how long USPS, UPS, Fedex, or what ever delivery company has it. Just because they say 2-3 day delivery or 2-9 day delivery does not always mean it will be in that time frame. Mother nature has more to say about the delivery time than I as a seller does but ebay is going to red flag sellers for a 4 rating. Our items are always shipped with in 3 days of payment clearing the bank. Even paypal can take up to 4 days for it to clear bank. Ebay says sellers should include shipping in item price and list as free delivery. Ebay does not charge commission on the shipping just the item price.
