Look close at the bottom. We have the pomegranate mark with the date letter (A) under it, and the (A) being the first date letter in capitol form usualy means. an early date, could be early 1700s. Next to it is another German mark wich is also from 18C. and the number 800 . I have been researching this for over  a week. Go to www.925-1000.com silver makers marks. Then go to World marks, under German, then pre 1886 marks and have a look for yourself. Also Millers silver and sheffied  marks look under German AUGSBURG... There you'll find this mark also, it was used from 1600s to 1800, in a couple of variations. NOW onto the bowl itself. LOOK close at the detail. We have Cherubs laying in the grass playing a flute, with mountains in the background, apples  or fruit at their feet and roses and flowers surrounding the bowl.I BELIEVE, THE GLASS BOWL IS ORIGINAL, IT HAS A NIPPLE IN THE BTM THAT FITS PERFECTLY INTO A HOLE FOR THE NIPPLE IN THE BOTM OF THE DISH ! ! ! ! ! ! Just think, the original glass liner from over 250 yrs ago. This bowl is quite heavy for it small size of  2" tall . This might have been some sort of citris bowl. As the pics show, there is a rust covering portions, ot the inside of the bowl. I made no attempt to clean this. Hopefully you will know what to do with it, as far as cleaning, or removing the rust.. PLEASE dont take my word on all this. Im going by my research, and you experts may know something different. Please ask questions before bidding and I will do my best to answer them.
