Description         Annunciation Inspired by a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci (1472-75) SIZE: 26.5" x 42" (67cm x 107cm)      IN STOCK - NO NEED TO WAIT !   This stunning tapestry shows the angel Gabriel announcing to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive a Son of the Holy Spirit and he is to be named Jesus.Inspired by a painting by Leonardo Da Vinci it is one of the only paintings that he started and finished completely. Most of his paintings were not completed or were painted over after not being happy with the results. The fabric is mostly cotton and it has been finely woven using muted colours to give an authentic aged appearance.  It is fully lined with a rod sleeve.
