After Homanns death the enterprise was taken over by his son Johann Christoph Homann (*1703; † 1730). Homann jun. appointed Johann George Ebersberger and Johan Michael Franz as managing directors. After Homann jun. death the enterprise was then continued under the name "Homannsche Erben". DescriptionThis is a large-size and decorative old-coloured copper engraving map, published by Homann heirs. The map shows the continent Africa, the island Madagaskar, Arabia as well as the adjacent areas. The map is decorated with a wonderful title cartouche. Nach dem Tod Homanns ging sein Unternehmen auf dessen Sohn Johann Christoph Homann (* 1703; † 1730) über. Nach seinem Tod wurde das Unternehmen dann unter dem Namen "Homannsche Erben" fortgeführt.
