Description
For Your Bidding Pleasure, I Have Listed A . . . HUGE VICTORIAN COLLAR & BREAST PLATE Dimensions: It measures a total of 69" in length, 9" at it's deepest point (being the lapel if you will, and 3" at the most shallow section). Condition: Incredible. It was obviously attached to something at somepoint, but there is no loose beadwork to speak of. Who ever removed and saved this did a spectacular job. This piece is complete beadwork. It is not attached to any tulle or other material. Picture 2 & 5 show the pattern on the over-all body. Pictures 3 & 4 show the berry looking trim around the "collar" area. They really do look like black-berries completely covered beads. Just for fun Picture 6 shows my cell phone in the center of this beautiful monster. Even though I've given the measurements, I think a comparative visual will help show just how incredible in size and workman-ship it really is. I have acquired an entire lot of pieces simular in style -this one truly being the largest, -and have already listed all but two... So if your looking for true victorian trims for a costuming, (although they are all nice enough to frame) see my other listing. (P.S. the weight on this one by itself is just over a pound) Please . . ., if your have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me prior to auctions end. I will more than happy to supply any information you may need. A Quick Note: While I don't require insurance, I urge buyers when-ever possible to consider purchasing it. It's better to be safe than sorry, and I can't be responsible for damaged goods upon arrival. If you would like your items insured, add the monies for that when checking out. I do not believe in handling fees, & therefore do not incorporate them into my shipping. IF there is an "over-quote" on shipping- which does happen (I have taken huge losses on under-quoting packing) I ALWAYS reimburse my customers. I ship Priority (unless the customer requests otherwise) because I feel it is the best way to get the product to you safe & sound. Thanks so much . . . Victorian*Vixen.
