Dogon figure.   With excellent execution and a sensitive expression the figure has a prominent arrow shaped nose and a helment like coiffure.  Adorned with intricate scarification details the figure seems to be taking a step, with all of his weight seeming to be on one leg as seen.  This gives the figure a nice dynamic tension that is a subtle counterweight to the classicly Dogon columnar lines.   With a great presence the enclosed measures a large 28" x 5" x 4" 1/2 and is in excellent condition as seen.    Absolutely guaranteed authentic and as described. ==================================================== Please note that payment must be processed before shipping (VISA/MC ACCEPTED) and that such shipping is at buyer's expense (actual cost).
