This area has lots of history in art of textile and rug weaving since 16th century. The city of Kashan has been responsible for producing some of the finest antique Persian rugs both in wool and silk since late 19th century, The famous Mohtashem Kashan that goes up to $1000.00 psf comes from this area. also Dabeer quality. The rugs that come from kashan, majority have decorative floral design with traditional color combination, and come in both commercial and high quality. This city was the center of the silk rug industry in Persia in turn of the 20th century, then city of Qum took over in middle of 20th century. The rug that we are offering here is a very high quality 100% silk Kashan; it has almost 500 KPSI with multi color combination and tree of life design. This rug is in awesome shape, even though is almost 90 years old it still had decent pile and show no wears whatsoever withou having any stains, odor, dry area and hole.
