Please email me at info@tookalook.com This is a very fine old Chokwe mask, Ca. earlier mid 20th Cent.   With an intense expression under a tri part ridged coiffure the mask has enlarged ears and a grimacing mouth.  The (very!) nice thing about this mask is the great old surface patina.  The natural looking pigments have muted nicely with age and the surface has acquired that 'raised chicken skin' finish that is impossible to copy.  A classic style of mask with fine age, the work is ex a famed (Californian) collection, with full info to the winning bidder.    In excellent condition, the work measures  10" x 7" x 3" 3/4. ==================================================== Please note that payment must be processed before shipping (VISA/MC ACCEPTED) and that such shipping is at buyer's expense (actual cost).
