Immediately recognizable by their elaborate headdresses the carvings can generally be called 'Adu', which simply means ancestor. Of a wide variety of carving styles, the enclosed represents such an ancestor, standing regally and holding a cup to his chest. Measures 12" x 2" 1/4 x 2" and in excellent condition the figure is quite strong in presentation.
