The set consists of a breakfront, sideboard, pedestal table, six Queen Anne chairs (two armchairs, four side chairs). The breakfront, sideboard, dining table all have string inlay decoration. The sideboards brass pulls or handles are decorated with an American Eagle, which was very popular characteristic of Federal Period American furniture in high society or people of means. The dining table with brass casters measures: 109 inches in length with the two 20 inches leafs, 46 inches in width, 29 ½ inches in height. The breakfront with a lined silver drawer, with four doors above with nine shelves, with four doors below with oval panels measures: 83 inches in height, 69 inches in width, 15 inches in depth. The sideboard with string inlay with brass American handles measures: 65 inches in width, 37 inches in height. Armchair and side chair both measure: 39 inches in height, 21 inches in width, 18 inches in depth. Condition The dining set is in good condition. Numerous knick and dings from everyday use on the chairs legs, table legs. The table top has some light scuffs. One of the sidechairs the foot has been repaired.
