Hans Christiansen' Description A large serving spoon, executed in 800 silver, by P. Bruckmann & Sohne, Heilbronn, from a design by Hans Christiansen.  The spoon measurs Eight & One-Half [ 8.50 ] inches in length.  Or, 21.50 Cms.  It is in perfect condition.  The spoon weighs Two & One-Half [ 2.50 ] regular ounces, or about 86.00 grams. The spoon is well marked with the German hallmark for 800/1000 silver, i.e. The crescent moon, crown, and "800."  And it is stamped with the Bruckmann mark; i.e. an eagle.  A full page showing this pattern by Christiansen will be found in Annelies Krekel-Aalberse's book, "Art Nouveau and Art Deco Silver," Harry N.
