We specialise in wide antique beds (5ft wide and over). ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Loius XV Style `Lit a la Polonaise` 4 Poster Reproduction Bed Originally Designed by & Made to Order for Victoria Bonham Carter Unique, made to order, hand carved, Louis XV Lit a la Polonaise with corona. Hand finished in a two tone, antique patina. Hung with self lined curtains and a double valance of Claremont 'nature', fine 100% linen, printed with trailing flowers and birds. 30meters of cloth in all. Made to take a matress size 6' 6" wide and 6' long. Dismantles into sections for transport. Overall dimensions when set up are: outside length 215cm, outside width 196cm, floor to top of side rail 218cm, floor to top of pineapple finial 330cm. Price includes all drapes but excludes mattress. We do not normally sell reproduction beds, but this is exceptional, and a complete "one off", having been designed by and commissioned for the original owners -the Bonham Carters.
