Built with rare, high quality woods such as cherry, teak, white pine, birch and maple. The model rests perfectly on a large, wood base between four arched metal dolphins. To build this ship, extensive research was done using various sources such as museums, drawings, copies of original plans and photos of the actual ship.     Model History On October 21, 1805, one of the most momentous battles in European history began off Cape Trafalgar, Spain. The HMS Victory, led by Lord Horatio Nelson, defeated the Napoleon-led armada of French and Spanish ships as they attempted to invade England. At the head of the British column, Nelson's flagship, the HMS Victory, sailed directly into the center of the Napoleon-led fleet to cut it in two. Her steering was disabled, her sails were full of holes, and she was partially dismasted, but Victory came straight on. Only then did Nelson give the order to open fire while turning to run down the line of the French formation. Victory slashed through the enemy's line of ships, taking great punishment, but leaving disaster in her wake. While Lord Horatio Nelson was mortally wounded, he was informed that he led them to a great victory, with 25 enemy ships already captured or sunk. 100% Money Back Guarantee    Testimonials Our Guarantee - BID WITH CONFIDENCE - Our Guarantee Over 1000 + positive reviews on Ebay We guarantee that you will be satisfied or your money back!  Professional Packaging Shipped fully assembled and inspected Guaranteed to arrive undamaged Shipped immediately with tracking number provided Model rests in styrofoam, secured down with bungee straps The model is then surrounded by a wood crate Styrofoam sheets are placed between the crate and the box A seven-point inspection is done before your model is shipped The box is marked with "This Side Up" and "Fragile" stickers  Terms Professional packaging and shipping in the continental US is $149.  Majority of destinations in Canada is $249.   Local pickup available at our Downtown Los Angeles showroom.
