The history of tapestries goes back to 17th century's decoration of French royal palaces, documented by King Louis XIV court. These tapestries were made in amazingly high quality and technique, which is not easy for regular manufacturers, although many had tried producing them but they failed doing so. Therefore these items became history and soon found their place in Museums and distinguished locations only. Perhaps one of the most important items in museums that attracts viewers are Tapestries. Unfortunately these items are not seen often in rug galleries or regular rug stores and many of the public are not aware of such valuable and interesting items. It is fortunate that in recent decade we have been taking European artisans, master craftsmen to China and tried in reproducing such treasures, which many people could not have even dreamed of owning such magnificent items. Tapestries mostly made with pictorial designs and scenes from historic novels, therefore antique Tapestries are currently decorating high steamed places such as the White House, UN, European Royal palaces, museums and embassies.
