BLUE Silk Chinoiserie c1920 Drapes/Curtains' Description This is a beautiful complete set of antique c1920 silk damask Chinoiserie drapes in a lovely soft powder blue. These are pinch pleated at the top, maintain their original solid brass drapery hooks, and are fully lined with ivory cotton chintz and flannel (in between) for all weather. The set includes three pairs, six panels of full pinch pleated fully lined drapes with each panel measuring 19" wide at the top pleats and 46" wide in the fullness x 92" long. They are in excellent antique condition with these few exceptions. Panel 1 has a 1 inch tear on the outside edge. Panel 2 has a water stain on the bottom side edge that is difficult to see as it is light. Panel 3 has no problems noted. Panel 4 has no problems noted. Panel 5 has no problems noted. Panel 6 has a tear on the bottom fold edge of the hem on one side. There is also included another pair of curtains that are long and pleated at the tops but come to a point and have weights sewn in at the bottom point. This pair measures 89 1/2" long x 11" across the pleated top and 30" at the widest. This dramatic pair could be used for a doorway or at the head of your bed on the wall. It is backed in the same silk damask. Also included are 4 matching pelmets (top swags) for the three matching pairs and the one different pair. These measure 45" x 20 1/2" at the widest and all are in very good condition with no problems noted. And finally there are 6 smaller pelmets that I think may have been used as tiebacks, but I'm not sure. These measure 13 1/2" x 16 1/2" and all are in very good condition with no problems noted. Amazingly, there is NO fading on ANY of the curtains anywhere, even on the edges. This is a very beautiful and RARE antique quality set of curtains and accessories in a gorgeous shade of powder blue silk satin with a beautiful chinoiserie damask pattern.  ****** Please email with any questions.
