Each cushion has tassels and rope that you would tie to the chair back to keep the cushion in place. There are 2 sets for 3 cushions and one set for 1 cushion (the other is missing). They are not attached to the cushion presently, which is how I bought them, but would be tacked onto the cushion at the place that best suited your own chairs. The tapestry on one cushion is nearly perfect, the others show wear as you might expect. The silk damask on all cushions is in very fine condition. Top to bottom the cushions are about 21.5". The widest part at the top is about 16.5". The sides then taper down to approximately 12.5" across. These could be altered very easily to use as seat cushions if you prefer. I think the tapestry dates to the early-ish 20th century and that, perhaps, the silk is a little later. Payment due within 10 days after the auction.
