You are bidding on two (!!) nice antique guitar lutes, probably handcrafted in Germany. One bears the label "Goldklang" (golden sound), the other has no label. No year, I think both were built around 1920. Fine instruments, cleaned, both need repairs and restoration, so great projects. Beautiful wood, the top is fine solid spruce, the back is nice (solid ?) maple. The tuners (both with bone knobs) work but need oil, rosewood fretboards with 9 frets, 5 frets at the table, three mother-of-pearl markers at the fretboard, wonderful original bridge, decorated soundhole. The neck of the right one is straight and good playable, the neck of the left one is not straight, so the action is very high. Old strings (not complete). Damages: Left one - some longer cracks at the top, the bridge needs reglueing at one side. Right one - The bridge needs reglueing, 5 bridge pins are missing, two separations between ribs at the back, the upper piece of the headstock is missing. See my pics ! Dimensions and specifications: Total length 930mm, scale length 600mm, largest width of the body 340mm, nut 45mm, 9th fret 54mm. Sorry, there are no cases or bags. Hier zwei schöne antike Gitarrenlauten, handgebaut in Deutschland, eine mit Label "Goldklang", die andere ohne Herstellerzeichen, keine Jahreszahl, ich schätze um 1920 herum gebaut. Beide schöne Restaurationsobjekte, die es sicher wert sind. Schäden: Risse, ein Hals ist total verzogen, Stegpins fehlen. Mensur 600mm, Gesamtlänge ca. 930mm. Jede Menge Gebrauchsspuren, Saiten uralt, fehlen teilweise, Mechaniken brauchen Öl und Übverprüfung. Alles in allem interessantes und schöne alte Stücke zum Restaurieren oder Sammeln oder für Teile.
