Myers FL. See more about '2 Mid Century Modernist Tripod Marble Tables Eames era' Description This is a rare set of magnificent Mid-Century modern Italian marble topped tables. The tripod table bases have a sleek metal design and they can be folded up. Each have their original rubber feet. The tops of the metal bases also have their original rubber bumbers for the marble. The tables stand 24-1/2 inches from the floor to the top. They are in excellent condition with no dents, bends or breaks, and the rubber is not dry rotted. The marble measures 18 inches across and 1 inch thick, and say made in Italy on the bottom. The top surfaces have some fine hairline scratching, and some slight areas of discoloring. One of the marble tops has a circle from a drinking glass and a small area on the surface of crackling. The marble is high gloss not chaulky. No cracks or chips or breaks in the marble. All in all tables and bases are excellent vintage condition. Check out the items pictures. I reserve the right to end unbid auction at any time if the item sells locally.
