This antique register is also equipped with the side printer and a ten compartment cash drawer with a pull handle. All of the price keys work and the corresponding number or symbol pops up and the drawer dings and opens. All of the keys are present for the under the cover locks as well as all the outside locks. All of the inside counters spin correctly and still work as well. I have not tested the outside printer to see if that is still operational or not my guess is it still works as well. The register is in very good cosmetic condition as well with a tiny chip on the marble piece and a few tiny chips on the inside of the top glass pieces. I've cleaned the register up some and it will take some more elbow grease if you want it back to super shiny brass. At some point the parts of the register that were visible when it was in use were painted gold. The front and half the sides had a gold paint on them when the register came to me (see pictures). I've cleaned the top portion to the point were the gold paint is gone and it's back down to the brass surface. This paint comes off just like the tarnish with lots of elbow grease. This is a very nice antique register and everyone who see's it seems to love it!! This piece would make an awesome display piece just as it is or polish it up to a full shine for even more eye popping appeal!!
