Description
im offering this absolutely incredible 1700s early lighting original primitive wooden candle lantern in old paint-they surely do not come finer than this outstanding specimen of true primitive early lighting in an extraordinarly true aged and warm worn sage green paint surface-its original as found condition remains excellent with no significant damage whatsoever and only shows appropriate age anomolies commensurate for its age all adding to its desired authentic character-at a very nice size, it measures without the original thick wire handle extended up, at 13 1/4''h x 7 1/4'' square-to the best of my observations the front and back glass is old and wavy and appears to be original however the side glass panels seem to be of newer glass replacements and only missing one early forged nail pin at the bottom, easily replaced but as is still doesnt affect its structural integrety at all-this is truely a drop dead gorgeous early piece and im not going to mess around with a reserve and if you get it for the extremely low opening bid then be sure to jump up and clap your feet together, because you would be getting the deal of year-please disreguard ebays fallible, now required shipping calculations and rather see my payment instructions for details-i list early original primitive furnishings regularly so be sure to keep an eye out-thank you.
