Description
Vintage antique 1873 handcolored map. The map is titled Flint at left hand side and Burton at right hand side, this is Flint Township and Burton Township. I see City of Flint in 2 areas, beautiful map. Map has small tear at top, can be repaired on verso with archival tape, a crease near middle, some clean seperation near bottom middle, along the fold, with a tear there, partially repaired with archival tape, need further archival tape repair there. if framed properly, map should look fine. This is an antique map and not a reprint or reproduction. The handcoloring on the map is period to the map, this is before color printing. The map is from the very rare 1873 Beers Atlas of Genesee County Michigan . The map is a fascinating and historic period look at this area at this time. The map shows the home and land owners, the business and industry, the few roads, railroads etc that existed at that time. The photo wont show the full beauty of the map. The size of the map is 15.5" by 24". Winning bidder pays $3.75 shipping domestic, more foreign.
